  • Ohio Dominates List Of Dying Cities
    By Associated Press
COLUMBUS, Ohio - - Ohio dominates a magazine's new list of
what it calls America's fastest-dying cities.
Forbes magazine names four Ohio cities in its list of ten that
have weak population growth and sputtering local economies. They
are Canton, Cleveland, Dayton and Youngstown.
The cities were listed alphabetically, not ranked.
An article in Forbes' new issue says the list shows that
America's old manufacturing backbone is in rougher shape than ever
and still looking for something to replace its smokestacks.
